Featured on this page will be the animals in our care. Some are fosters in need of temporary placement, some are available for adoption, and some are success stories! Bea
Beatrix Potter has packed a lot of life into her (approximately) 2 years! She previously lived outside at Constitution Square, where she birthed at least one litter. Since moving to her foster home, she's extended her nurturing to the resident foster kittens. She loves to cuddle her foster mom &, despite her "resting Bea face," is a sweetheart. While Bea is positive for FIV, she's perfectly capable of living with FIV negative cats. Many FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives with routine vet care & proper nutrition. Bea is spayed, UTD on shots, negative for feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Sera
Seratonin was the littlest of her litter & got left behind when everyone reached adoptable weight limits before her. She is still teeny & will probably always be petite, but she's not afraid of anything. Raised with resident cats & dogs & a rotation of foster sibling kittens, she goes along with anything. Her favorite toy is the dog's tail. Her favorite snack is the bottle kitten's chin. And her favorite nap spot is your lap. She's very talkative & has a funny little meow that will always make you smile. Her name, Seratonin, the happy chemical, is pretty spot on. She's small. She's mighty. And she'll be a bright spot in a dark world for any lucky family. Sera is 4 months old, spayed, UTD on shots, negative for FIV & feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Charlotte
At 3 years old, Charlotte has raised her kittens & is ready to live the retired life. Even though she's been living in a home with resident cats, dogs, & a rotation of over 60 kittens in & out, she would prefer a place of her own. She's tolerant of littles, but would be best in a home with people who will appreciate her independence. She prefers to spend her day high on top of the bookshelf or the cat tower, a throne for the Queen she is. She is a mighty huntress of stuffed animals, keeping the home safe through the night. If she's not congratulated on her catch, she'll leave if in the kitchen so we can celebrate together at breakfast. She is a big fan of breakfast. And lunch... & dinner. After she was spayed & living the good life, she started packing it on for the extra comfort. Her most recent check was 15 lbs. of healthy love. Her gray fur is "blue" with a silver sheen & her eyes tell so many stories. And she is so playful - doesn't play well with 4-legged others, but give her a string & watch out! She really would make a great best friend for a teenager or someone who works from home. She doesn't need a lot, but she would love to live alongside someone for good. Charlotte is spayed, UTD on shots, negative for FIV & feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Pickles
Pickles came to us from Corbin, where his bio mama repeatedly attacked him. Despite his rough start, he's THE most loving little guy. He's obsessed with his human foster sister & loves all of his four-legged foster siblings. Cat trees are a must; he's never met a surface he didn't try to climb! We think he's around 6 months old. Pickles has been neutered, is UTD on shots, is negative for FIV & feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Titan
Talk about a dramatic origin story! Titan was found with his brothers IN A WOOD CHIPPER after that equipment had traveled from Richmond to Georgetown! Another rescue vetted & adopted out his siblings. Now it's Titan turn to shine! He's a social butterfly who's at home with dogs, people of all ages, & other cats; in fact, he was the star of Centre's Expo this year. He's equal parts playful & chill. Titan is neutered, UTD on shots, negative for FIV & feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Tom
Tom is a bit of a mystery. His previous owners surrendered him to Happy Paws Spay & Neuter Clinic when they were forced to move without him. He's approximately 4 or 5 years old. He shows major interest in exploring outdoors, so a harness might be a good compromise. He's experienced quite a bit of upheaval recently & remained calm, affectionate, & well-behaved throughout it. Tom is neutered, UTD on shots, negative for FIV & feline leukemia, & has received flea preventative & dewormer.

Cookie & Kiki
Despite being completely unrelated, these two curious critters are stuck together like glue. It would take a strongman to pull apart these crazy creatures! These strange ladies like to spend their days doing acrobatics (they have a stupendous trapeze act while play fighting!), chasing the Dogman, & slumbering in a single jumbled ball. One moment, they have two separate heads; the next, you can't tell where one tail ends & the other begins! Cookie's gentle, patient, & cuddly demeanor is a great accompanying routine to Kiki's playful & energetic one-kitten circus act. Up to this point, they've been raised by the Tattooed Lady. They're now ready to make their sideshow in your living room! Step right up & get your tickets! Admit One to this world of wonders! Graceful, elegant Farrah has blonde fur mixed in with her tan tabby markings. She's the only one of her sisters to sport a fluffy tail--a fact she's exceedingly proud of. Like her younger sister Frankie, Fallon has a bright orange spot on top of her head. What's it for? Kisses, of course!
